Tbilisi has one of the oldest Jewish communities in the world and a fast-growing stream of Israeli visitors, and its small kosher dining scene reflects both. Most certified options cluster in and around the Old Town, close to the historic synagogues on Kote Abkhazi Street, and lean toward Israeli-Georgian meat cooking. Supervision comes from Rabbi Avimelech Rosenblatt, chief rabbi of the Georgian community, and from Chabad of Georgia. A dedicated kosher hotel south of the center adds separate meat and dairy restaurants for guests and walk-ins.
