Las Vegas has a compact but active kosher dining scene that serves both a resident community and a steady stream of Jewish tourists. Despite the city's fame, there are essentially no kosher restaurants on the Strip itself, so visitors head a few miles west to clusters along Flamingo Road, Sahara Avenue, and Spring Valley, with additional options in Summerlin. Supervision is provided mainly by the Vaad HaKashrus of Las Vegas and Chabad of Southern Nevada, with a couple of venues under the Orthodox Union. Options range from glatt meat grills and an upscale steakhouse to Cholov Yisroel pizzerias and cafes.

Traveler's note

Kosher venues cluster on the west side of the valley, roughly a 15 to 25 minute drive from the Strip, especially around West Flamingo Road, West Sahara Avenue, and Spring Valley, with a Summerlin pocket at The Crossing on Banburry Cross Drive. Nearly everything closes Friday afternoon and stays shut Saturday for Shabbat, so plan ahead and consider pre-ordering Shabbat meal packages from local caterers or Chabad. A rental car or rideshare is effectively required since almost nothing kosher is within walking distance of Strip hotels. Several venues offer takeout and delivery to hotel rooms.
