Bangkok
4Bangkok is one of Asia's main hubs for Jewish travelers and Israeli backpackers, and its kosher scene is built almost entirely around Chabad of Thailand under Chief Rabbi Yosef Kantor. The two centers of gravity are the Ohr Menachem Chabad House just behind Khao San Road (a magnet for backpackers, with Shabbat dinners drawing hundreds) and the Jewish community cluster on Sukhumvit near Soi 20 and Soi 22. Between them they run both meat restaurants and dairy cafes, so a traveler can find kosher food on either side of the city.

4Ko Samui is one of Thailand's most popular islands with Israeli travelers, and it has the most developed kosher scene of the country's beach destinations. Chabad of Ko Samui under Chief Rabbi Yosef Kantor runs both a kosher meat restaurant (branded Citra Chabad Kosher Place) and a dairy pizzeria. Alongside the Chabad kitchens there are a couple of Israeli style eateries in the Chaweng Beach area, giving visitors more choice than most Thai islands.
