Reserve Cut was the first meat restaurant ever recommended to me in New York City. As a meat lover and a big fan of dry-aged steaks, I am always looking to discover new spots and eat great steaks. I went to Reserve Cut on my first trip to New York, and since then I pass by whenever I am in the city. With multiple locations in New York, Reserve Cut offers a very high-end, luxurious vibe. The prime location in downtown New York City, next to Wall Street, is really well maintained. The different areas of the restaurant are nicely separated. There is a space for families, for religious couples, for casual dates, and even if it is not official, you can definitely feel it. It helps a lot to have people with the same vibe next to you. The only issue is the hostess service, which most of the time is not very welcoming. On the few times I went, the table was not ready on time and we had to deal with a very minimal amount of service. But all of that changes the moment you sit down at your table and are handled by the waiters, who in most cases are very experienced, very welcoming, and very friendly. My choice is always the same: the bone-in ribeye. It is enough for two people and delicious to share with a few starters. Overall, if you are looking for a kosher steak house in New York, Reserve Cut is one of the best, if not the best.
