Traveler's note

The overwhelming majority of kosher restaurants, cafes, bakeries and delis sit within a short drive of each other in Glenhazel, Sandringham, Fairmount and Norwood, so visitors staying in these suburbs can walk or drive between most options. Long Avenue, Northfield Avenue and Ridge Road in Glenhazel, plus the Bradfield Drive area of Fairmount, form the busiest kosher hubs. Kosher establishments close for Shabbat from Friday afternoon through Saturday night, so plan Friday-night and Saturday meals in advance and confirm hours directly, since some venues also close on Jewish festivals.
